Every year we attend law fairs in Hong Kong, the UK, Australia, and host open house events. At these events you get to meet our partners, associates and trainees and learn all about training and working at Freshfields.

March 2025 - Australian Law Fairs and Information Sessions

Every year we attend the Australian Law Fairs in Melbourne and Sydney, as well as holding Info Sessions. If you are considering starting your legal career in Hong Kong, this would be a great opportunity to meet us.

This year’s AU Law Fairs will take place in March 2025. The events provide an opportunity for you to meet with our lawyers to explore more about the Firm and career prospects at Freshfields.

University of Melbourne Law Fair

We will also hold information sessions and workshops while we are in Australia. You may register your interest by clicking on the “Register Now” tab at the top of this page before 12 March 2025 to the event and location convenient to you. A confirmation email will be sent to the selected students before the event. Locations for the information sessions and workshops will be advised in the confirmed email.

March 2025 - Australian Virtual Information Session

In March, we will hold an online Information Session for Australian Law Students at 6pm – 7pm AEDT. You’ll hear from two of our Australian lawyers based in Hong Kong – partner Matt O’Callaghan and associate Jason Hu – about the firm and your potential career path at Freshfields.

September 2025 - Hong Kong Law Fair and Open Days

We attend the Hong Kong Law Fair in September each year. This is a great opportunity for you to meet partners, associates and trainees and find out what it’s like to work at Freshfields.

We also hold Info Sessions in our office, typically during September and October, more details will be provided closer to the date.
