关于 Tristan Lockwood

Tristan is a senior associate in our data practice with particular experience in digital regulation, including artificial intelligence, online safety, privacy and cyber issues. 

Tristan's practice is focused on helping businesses navigate risks and seize opportunities associated with new technology, digital assets and emerging digital regulation, including the EU AI Act, the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), and the UK Online Safety Act (OSA). He also advises clients on their engagement with international regulators and policymakers in the United Kingdom, Europe, United States, and elsewhere around the world.

Prior to joining Freshfields Tristan worked at another commercial law firm in London and as a senior lawyer in the disputes group of the Australian Government Solicitor where he worked across a broad range of issues affecting the national security community. In addition to undertaking investigations and providing operational and governance advice on surveillance, privacy, free speech and information law issues, he litigated numerous cases relating to information use and access in the context of data leaks, and terrorism and foreign interference investigations, including before the High Court of Australia.

Tristan is admitted to practice law in New York, England & Wales, and Australia (Queensland).
