关于 Anh N. Ngo
Anh is an Associate in the U.S. Corporate group in Frankfurt which is part of the firm-wide U.S. Corporate practice group. She focuses on U.S. corporate and securities law, including advice in relation to high-yield bonds, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
Anh is admitted to practice law in New York (Attorney-at-Law), Paris (Maître en Droit), and Frankfurt (Rechtsanwältin).
Prior to joining the Firm in 2021, Anh worked in the London, Paris, and Frankfurt offices of U.S.-based international law firms.
Handelsblatt/Best Lawyers have recognized her as one of the “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Germany” (“Anwälte der Zukunft” - “Lawyers of the Future”) for Capital Markets Law (first, inaugural edition 2021/2022).
Born in Saigon, Vietnam, Anh grew up in a small town in the Black Forest, Germany. She studied law in Germany, France, and the United States, graduating with the German First and Second State Examination, a French masters law degree in Public International and European Union law (maîtrise en droit), and a U.S. master of laws (LL.M.) degree in U.S. American law.
She worked among others at the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Rottweil, Germany, and at the Central Office of the State Justice Administrations for the Investigation of National Socialist Crimes in Ludwigsburg, Germany during her legal clerkship (Rechtsreferendariat).
In the United States, she clerked for Judge John Nho Trong Nguyen at the Orange County Superior Court in California, gave a guest lecture at the New York University Center for Global Affairs, and at the invitation of Professor David Oppenheimer, joined The Berkeley Center on Comparative Equality and Anti-Discrimination Law (BCCE) where she volunteers as an editorial board member of the BCCE online blog.
In Cambridge, Massachusetts and at The J. Paul Getty Museum - Getty Research Institute - in Los Angeles, Anh worked with the German law firm Von Trott zu Solz Lammek on case-law in German and International Restitution Law with respect to recovery of looted or stolen artworks by the Nazi regime during the Holocaust, with assistance from the Simon Wiesenthal Center and attorney Randol Schoenberg in Los Angeles.
She is bilingual in German and Vietnamese and fluent in English and French.
She holds a Design Thinking Certificate from Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Leadership Self-Development Certificate from Harvard Business School, and a Women's Leadership Development Certificate from Oxford Saïd Business School.
Anh is passionate about advocating for women, diversity and inclusion and is a member of ForbesWomen Forum, a unique invitation-only private networking space for female leaders to exchange insights, ideas and knowledge. In 2024, Harvard Business Review (HBR) invited her to join its Advisory Council, an opt-in research community of business professionals, to contribute insights on women's leadership, women in law, and help shape the future of ideas of the wider world of management and leadership.
