关于 Korbinian Schrom
Korbinian is an associate in our intellectual property and information technology practice group.
He advises multinational and domestic clients on intellectual property law, with a particular focus on complex patent litigation in the fields of life sciences, telecommunications and technology.
Before joining Freshfields, Korbinian was a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Private Law and Intellectual Property Law, with Information and IT Law (GRUR Chair) of Prof. Dr. Matthias Leistner, LL.M. (Cambridge) at LMU Munich. In this capacity, he gave tutorials on patent law and the basics of intellectual property and was responsible for the preparation of lectures on patent law and data law. His own research focused on data access rights, mainly in relation to the Digital Markets Act and the Data Act.
Already during his studies, Korbinian focused on intellectual property law and gained his first practical experience in this field during his legal clerkship in the IP/IT department of a Munich-based DAX company.
Korbinian speaks German and English.
