Freshfields strengthens its Middle East disputes offering with new counsel hire
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (‘Freshfields’) has strengthened its market-leading international arbitration, investigations and litigation capabilities with the hire of Amani Khalifa as Counsel in its Dubai office. Amani will work for clients across the Middle East and Africa with an emphasis on construction disputes, litigation and global investigations, commencing 1 May.Amani has more than 10 years of experience in advising on complex disputes, particularly in the construction sector, and also sits as an arbitrator. Triple-qualified in the UK, New York and Egypt, Amani joins the firm from Khalifa, the successful boutique dispute resolution firm in Cairo which she established in 2014. During the course of her career, Amani has advised clients from a range of markets including Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Europe.
