Freshfields advises AAC Technologies on the acquisition of Premium Sound Solutions (PSS)

Global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) is advising Hong Kong listed AAC Technologies on the acquisition of a majority stake in Premium Sound Solutions (PSS) from Value Enhancement Partners and Ardent Equity Management. The completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.

PSS is a global manufacturer of premium sound systems and acoustic solutions with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability. As a B2B company, PSS serves global premium customers in the automotive as well as in the consumer market. The sellers will keep a minority stake in PSS.

AAC Technologies (2018.HK) is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and a provider of sensory experience solutions with the goal of building the future of interactive sensory technologies. The company has strong capabilities in acoustics, optics, haptics, sensor and semiconductor, and precision manufacturing. AAC intends to further focus its efforts on the industries of smartphones, intelligent vehicles, virtual reality, augmented reality and smart homes.
