Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer ('Freshfields') advised Renault Group on the carve-out of its electric vehicle and vehicle software defined business enabling to create the Ampere Group.

The Ampere Group, based in France, aims at becoming the European leader in electric vehicles with around 11,000 employees, including 3,500 engineers.

The Freshfields team is led by partner Guillemette Burgala, alongside counsel Arnaud Mouton and associate Tanguy Mirabel for corporate matters.
