Freshfields advises RELX on selling its exhibition business in Austria

Global law firm Freshfields has advised RELX Group, the global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers, on its strategic exit from the Austrian exhibition market. Following an evaluation of RX Global's business activities in Austria, the decision was made to transfer the exhibition business of three RX entities to new ownership, which is expected to provide more favourable conditions for future growth in the Austrian exhibition market. A total of three entities were sold, which were acquired by Messezentrum Salzburg GmbH, WSE Wiener Standortentwicklung GmbH and mac. brand spaces GmbH.
